Features of the Dixel Universa digital controller UNIV -4 R
Dixell presents the new versatile Universal-R4, the controller with two power supplies. The UNIVERSAL-R4 replaces a large number of cooling and heating controllers (over 150 models) in the standard 32 x74 mm housing in the most commonly used applications. The UNIVERSAL-R4 offers a convenient, versatile and quick to install solution: suitable for both 12 V AC/DC and 230 V AC. Many features characterize this device as the optimal solution for many typical applications.
The controller can be used for double evaporator defrosting. Two evaporator sensors and a specific parameter allow the setting of two defrost ends. The UNIVERSAL-R4 is ready to use in three simple steps:
7 different parameter presets - selectable by parameter tc - cover most of the main applications. The 6 buttons on the front panel give direct access to the main functions, while the display gives real-time user information for alarms and working status. The controller can be programmed by means of a HOTKEY. Energy saving measures are becoming more and more important nowadays:
For this reason, this controller is equipped with a complete compressor management system. When monitoring the operation of the compressor temperature, it is possible to detect when maintenance of the compressor, to maintain the best energy efficiency, is necessary. The compressor can be switched off when the compressor temperature rises. This avoids technical malfunctions or interference with the application.
