Features of the Dixel Universa digital regulator UNIV -4 R
Dixell presents the new versatile Universal-R4, the controller with two power supplies. The UNIVERSAL-R4 replaces the majority of cooling and heating controllers (over 150 models) in a standard 32 x 74 mm housing in the most common applications. The UNIVERSAL-R4 offers a convenient, versatile and quick-to-install solution: suitable for both 12 V AC/DC and 230 V AC. Many functions characterise this device as the optimal solution for many typical applications.
The controller can be used for double evaporator defrosting. Two evaporator sensors and a specific parameter enable the specification of two defrost ends. The UNIVERSAL-R4 is ready for use in three simple steps:
7 different parameter presets - selectable via the parameter tc - cover most of the main applications. The 6 buttons on the front panel allow direct access to the main functions, while the display gives the user information for alarms and working status in real time. The controller can be programmed using a HOTKEY. Energy-saving measures are becoming increasingly important these days:
For this reason, this controller is equipped with complete compressor management. By monitoring the compressor temperature during operation, it is possible to recognise when maintenance of the compressor is necessary to maintain the best energy efficiency. The compressor can be switched off if the compressor temperature rises. This prevents technical faults or impairment of the application.
